Grande Arche - La Defense center
This massive structure sits on the axis of the Arche de Triomphe, the Avenue des Champs Elysees, the Jardin des Tuilerie and the Musee du Louvre. The Cathedrale Norte-Dame de Paris could sit within the arch opening.

La Defense center - Looking east approximately 5 kilometers along the Avenue de la Grande Armee to the Arche de Triomphe. La Defense is a large complex of business office buildings and shopping complexes. It includes a number of large art pieces, including a central fountain, perported to be the world's largest mosaic.
